Hey guys!
So this is just a little post, but I really liked my outfit and wanted to share it with you! I think it's very wintery!

So my attire consists of a little red dress (it has a sparkly red bow on it!) a ombre jumper, thick leggings, a red beanie and a looong white scarf! It's all verrry red! I also took a little red bag to stick the essentials in and although I don't think it goes, I wore a red coat cus' it was cold outside! For shoes I wore my combat style boots! Most of this stuff you will be able to see in my older haul post!

For make up (I was quite spotty) so I went all out on liquid foundation, concealer and powder. I wore a black/grey smokey eye, I put a bit of white shimmery eye shadow in the inner corners of my eyes and also went all out on eyeliner on the tops of my eyes with the usual flick and then put a bit of black eyeliner blended/smudged in with black eyeshadow on my water/lashline. I wore "bold" eyebrows here (they're really wonky ahahaha), a smidge of blush and a shimmery/goldy pink on my lips! Done!

 Selfie tiiiime!

I wore this outfit to town and to the cinema, I WATCHED CATCHING FIIYYUUUUH!!! I highly recommend it! Hope you all had a great weekend, and have a great week! Buh-bye!

Skin Saviour! (Tea tree oil)

Hey people! I know I haven't updated in a while and I definitely haven't done a "beauty" related post recently, so to start off I would just like to apologise for my lack of blogging (if any of you noticed).. I feel quite guilty, I guess I've just been really unmotivated and busy recently but I do want to start blogging a bit more often, even if I only started this blogging thing recently. I musn't get into bad habits..-anyways!

Tea tree oil..(I am a lil' slow on the bandwagon but..) where do I even start with this little beauty?! Tea tree is know for it's anti-bacterial properties. It is literally a life saviour, ahem, skin saviour! I absolutely adore this item even though I haven't been using it for very long (just over a month!) I wanted to give tea tree oil at least a month before I raved about it, in case it suddenly broke me out or something, but no it hasn't and I absolutely love love love it!

I know most of you already know of this 'magic', but for any of those who don't or any of you who are looking for an alternative to toothpaste or Sudocrem(love this stuff too) tea tree oil is amazing!

This may be a bit cringy for some, but erm, about last month, I broke out real bad. I mean like worse than ever before and I believe it was because of hormones, as it was also, um 'the time of the month' for me. I literally had like "MASSIVE BOILS" (sorry to be so graphic) which were supposed to be spots on my face, Sudocrem didn't seem to be working for me at the time, so I picked this tea tree oil up and used it. I noticed the next day my spots had gone down, and after about 5 days, the "boils" were gone! It was the worst breakout of my entire life (I know I haven't been around for long, but seriously) my mum commented that the spots looked extremely painful. This tea tree oil really worked!

I apply tea tree oil to any of my spots just before I go to bed. Mine is just a small bottle with a screw cap lid, so I have to be careful when I 'pour' or drip it. I put it onto my finger (my hands are washed before I touch my face obviously) and then dab my finger onto each spot. This probably isn't the best way to put it on, but idk. Any suggestions are welcome! (If there is a better way, I probably sound like such a noob, aha..) I put this tea tree oil on after having cleansed and moisturised (normal skincare routine) then when I wake up in the morning, my spots have been noticeably reduced and less red, or even-gone! Woah! It really is that good and simple! Average sized spots tend to go after 2/3 days (for me anyways).

It definitely does have an affect on my face, some of my friends even commented on how clear my skin looked! (I was so happy, aha-silly me!)

Recently, I stopped using it because I was reaaally lazy last week/weekend, if any of you follow me on Twitter you may have noticed I have tweeted a lot about 'Skyrim' and ohmy! this is a whole different story which is completely unrelated to beauty. I only recently got the game last Wednesday and I am addicted (as you can see I have a running theme of being "slow to join the bandwagon") so I was erm, kinda up late, into the early hours of the morning and being very very very lazy with my skincare routine. So, it's kinda taken a toll on my face. Meh.. Serves me right, I guess.

But I'm just getting back into using the tea tree oil again, and it never fails to amaze me.

I'm not sure where mine is from, as my mum had bought it but I am pretty sure you can buy tea tree oil from any shop really, well like a drugstore or whatever.

For any of yous who are particularly interested, the tea tree oil I use is 'HERB GARDEN tea tree Essential Oil' It's only 10ml, but I'm not even half way through the bottle yet and I have been using it for a month. Also, btw my skin type is oily/combination and I know results vary from person to person, but even though I have oily skin, using tea tree oil was fine!

Sorry this is such a long blog post, that probably isn't very informative but I felt the need to really rave about this, aha. Have a great week! x

Hey guys! First thing I'd like to mention is you guys should go check out SimplyDolly's  YouTube channel, she's just starting out and her videos are really good!
This is my #BritishBloggerSelection post for this week! This week's theme was a Q&A. If you yourself are interested in joining the #BritishBloggerSelection, click on the Join #BritishBloggerSelection button, which is further down the side of my blog.

Here we go, guuuuys!

Question Two: How did you come up with your blog name? I named my blog 'Secretly Blogging' because I wasn't sure what else to call it and I thought, why not? I wanted this blog to be anonymous at first, as I didn't want any of my friends to find this, but, ah well.

Question Three: Where from the UK do you come from? The West Midlands, I live about 45 mins away from Birmingham.

Question Four: Favourite colour? Light blue or pink. :)

Question Five: Do you like Lana Del Ray? I haven't really listened to her music, but from what I have heard, I don't really like it. (Sorry, don't hurt me..) But I do like her as a fashion icon, I love some of the clothes she wears.

Question Six: Hidden Talents That You Have? I don't really have any hidden talents, I don't really have any talents, I like to draw?

Question Seven: Celebrity Crush? Niall Horan, ohmylord! I love his accent! -Or just any member from One Direction.

Question Eight: Favourite Blog Of All Time? Zoella and/or Kayleigh's blog.

Question Nine: What made you want to join #BritishBloggerSelection? I saw someone mention it, so I thought why not?

I'm sorry the last few posts on here haven't been very beauty related, and I promise to do a more 'beauty related' post some time this week. I just have been feeling very ill this weekend and this week was very hectic with exams!

Bye guys, and have a great week!

I've joined in the #BritishBloggerSelection!

Basically what it is, is a group of British Bloggers who write about a set theme each week, the theme is set by aka Ellie. If you're interested in this yourself, just go over to her blog and contact her, tell her your blog URL, blog name and first and last name.

I think this is a good way to get found by other fellow bloggers and is a fun idea! It also helps if you're a bit stuck for inspiration one week!

October Favourites

Hey guys! I feel like October has just whizzed by! In fact, I feel like this whole year has gone by so quickly so far.. I can't believe we're already in November! Here are the products/things that I have been loving this month. (There's a bit of everything in here, so please excuse the mess that is this blog post)

Sudocrem! I have been using this quite a lot, I'd say I started using it in September actually, but carried on using it throughout the whole of October. It is so so sooo good for reducing the size and redness of spots. It is literally a life saver for me, and I can't believe I only recently came over the idea of putting Sudocrem on your spots. (I saw someone tweet about using it and then I looked up some reviews) I put this on at night (only a thin layer on each spot) as it is quite thick, and well, I suppose most people know the texture/thickness of Sudocrem. Although, it is most commonly known to be used for nappy rash on babies. (I think I will do a review on this soon, so yeah.)

Rimmel Match Perfection-Liquid Foundation. I purchased this a while back and didn't like the coverage or consistency, so stopped using it (I was quite spotty then-more than usual) but then decided to start using it again, after seeing Zoella use it after her holiday. My face is clearer (I say clearer but atm I look like I have been attacked by an apocalypse of spots-it's the TOTM *cringe*) so I liked the coverage and I have been using it a lot this month, so this is in my favourites. :)

MUA 'Heaven and Earth' Eyeshadow palette. I bought this near the beginning of October, and in the earlier post where I mentioned this, I said I wanted to use it in my daily routine-and I did (unless I was running late)! I love the different shades and it stays on all day! It really is a bargain, for only £4! I love this!

Tresemme Hairbrush. I haven't got a lot to say about this, it just does the job well and seems very sturdy and gentle on the hair. So yeah.

(I recycled a picture from before, haha)

the little pink tin. It's a cheap lip balm from Superdrug and keeps my lips moisturised for quite a while. It's clear and is perfect for school. (I need to get some more, I've almost finished this tin!)

Vaseline essential moisture cocoa radiant rich feeling lotion 'for healthy glowing skin' - I've just been using this product a lot as well, after having a shower or bath, it keeps my skin smooth and soft, and smells like cocoa beans! :D So this is a good product (or I think so anyway)

Scarves. What can I say? It's getting colder and colder, and whilst these can be a 'fashion piece' they also keep you warm and snug :) I wear them for their warmth factor, I get cold really easily. Brrr!

Boots. They look good and also keep your feet more warm and dry, "nuff said."

Leggings. They keep your legs warm and cosy, and are perfect for lazy days in the house!

Oversized jumpers-I love them! I'm slowly building up my collection. I love the fact that you can hide in them too-well, if they're big enough.

Half-term, I've definitely been glad of this week, so it's going in my favourites! Haha!

Imagine Dragons' album Night Visions. There isn't a single song on there I don't like, sooo..yeah! If you haven't heard of them before, you should check 'em out, they're cool.

Samy's Fat Hair "0" calories thickening shampoo and conditioner. I have the thinnest/flattest hair going, and I really feel this gives my hair a bit of "oomph". It smells good too! :)

Baths-I've been enjoying nice smelling, warm baths with plenty of bubbles this month! Yay!

The Hobbit-Bit geeky I know. But, ah, well. I rewatched the "An Unexpected Journey" this October, and it has re-kindled my love for the book! So, I'm going to read the book again. :) (I'mma start reading again, I can't believe I stopped D: ... ) I didn't know The Hobbit films were going to be a trilogy either, I thought there was just going to be two parts! So now I'm excited! :D I also want to start reading The Lord of the Rings books, I've never read them before.

To-do lists. Because I am so unorganised, I've decided to write "to-do lists", whenever I do, I seem to get more done and procrastinate less. So this is here, because I've found them useful.

And finally, on my favourites-blogging. I've had this blog for a month now, and I've loved blogging. I've really been enjoying it and I hope to carry on with this. It's fun!

(Scuse' the mess in the background..)

Thanks for reading, I really enjoyed doing this blog post! I hope you liked it, and sorry if it was boring! :) xx

Wednesday, 30 October 2013

Hellooo! So, as planned I did go off on a shopping trip with my friend, and I brought back a few goodies. I am actually really happy with the things I bought but I also, kinda owe my mum some money now. Oops, haha. Oh, well, I'm not really sure how a haul post works. I mean I've seen multiple ones before, but I'm new to this and so I waffle about a lot of unrelated stuff, but here you go. Here's what I bought (it's not a lot, but I thought I would share it with you)! :D

First off, I headed straight to Primark (it's where I spent the majority of my money)

I got some beanies-they were £2 each, and so I thought it was a bargain! Unfortunately, I couldn't find any plain black ones, there were some black beanies but they had slogans on and personally, I didn't like them. If I remember rightly, it said 'CHICAGO' on them or something, but yeah. If I'm honest, I don't really like wearing hats, they annoy me but I want to start wearing some and I think beanies are cute personally, so I think this is a good buy!

Next up, are these army style/combat boots. I'm not really sure what you call them, and I loved them as soon as I saw them. I really really really really really like them. They were £18 and I think they will definitely be worth the money, as I am sure I will wear them a lot this autumn/winter. I can't wait to wear these. I personally think the boots look better on. Aah, I'm so happy with this buy! :D

I then bought this dark blue/navy jumper from Primark. I just needed some more jumpers and for the sake of £7.99, I thought I would buy this. My only worry is that I might shrink it in the washing machine. I constantly do this, even when I wash things on a low temperature. :( Anyways, I think this is a nice jumper, even if it might not last very long.

I then went to H&M and saw lots of things I wanted, but unfortunately had already spent most of the money I had, so I only got this jumper, but I really like this jumper too! I guess it's just a jumper with a black gradient pattern on it? I don't know what to call this. You get what I mean, the colour gets darker the further down the jumper. I think it looks better on and I will definitely use this a lot, it feels quite thick-ish. It was £9.99 and I think it was a bargain!

That is everything, I hope you enjoyed this small post! And please leave a comment below, I'd love to read what you think or something. :) xx
